"Can You Spell 'Tech-Savvy'?"

I feel sorry for the little children of today, and the ones still to come. Little do they know, they being born and raised into a world shaping them and moulding them to fit into society. Kids are changing, and it's not that we're now breeding a different 'modern' generation- kids haven't necessarily gotten smarter, society's gotten craftier.
Children are in a world surrounded by crazy new things. That's not always a bad thing. It's just startling. We've got these little laptops that are teaching kids to speak, and video games that teach them how to problem-solve and work out problems they won't be facing for at least another few years. There's apps on iPhones for the little ones too. The fact that children are being encouraged to use iPhones is a sure indicator of how this world is changing.
We're making these logical, intellectual, tech-savvy kids for the next generation. Kiddies who are being equipped, even though they don't know, with skills to solve problems that haven't even risen yet.
These kids don't know, but they've the world's burden on their shoulders. They've got bigger issues than the adults of today. It's just mind-blowing.

And this morning, I opened a packet of 'Family Assortment' biscuits to accompany my cup of tea. Normally there's the choc-chipss, the Scotch Finger, the Nice and there's always those weird looking ones that don't look like they'd taste so great. And there's always the big teddy bear 'bikkies' for the children. Remember? Uh huh, well if you wanna tell me society isn't shaping these kids at a crazy-ass pace, then get this-
They cut the teddy bear, and have opted for an edible, almost life-size shortbread 'Mobile Fone'. Complete with a realistic layout.

What happened to the childhood 'cup and string'..?
