For Sara.

My head is spinning, my eyes are stinging
We wait for the day the losers start winning.

You were born, and then taken.
What was your inbetween?
The pearl gates of Zion are yours at sixteen.

Who imagines a day they won't live to see?
Not the fearless brave youth. Not you, not me.

The days are still moving, the Earth it still turns.
But you have still left us, our human hearts still they yearn.

My head is spinning, my eyes are stinging.
We wait for the day the losers start winning.
This is not a hello, this is not a goodbye.
This is 'enjoy your new home, you're a diamond in the sky.'
